Erica & Chris Allen
Erica was born and raised in a tiny town: Sandy Ridge, NC. After graduating high school, Erica attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Erica earned her Master of Divinity from Vanderbilt University.
During her time in Nashville, Erica grew passionate for prison ministry. Her desire to shine light and ignite change was born in a worship service in a prison when 55 women, who were incarcerated prayed for a new day. Erica knew that a new day was on the horizon where God’s love, peace, and justice reigned.
Chris was born and raised in Tampa. After graduating from Plant High School, he played football at Washington University in St. Louis and then attended the Divinity School at Duke University.
After working at several churches in Nashville, he longed to move back to his hometown and start a new church with a compelling vision to reach the next generation who are disconnected from God. Chris enjoys cheering for the Gators & Blue Devils, running marathons and coaching high school football.
Chris and Erica have two children, David and Emma along with two rescue dogs named, Cadbury and Scooby. Erica and Chris can be found: running with a jogging stroller, working out, drinking coffee, watching [Gator] football, and eating Cuban sandwiches.
Children's Ministry Director
Janna was born and raised in Calhoun, Georgia. While still a teen, she started volunteering in the children’s ministry of her home church, which helped to grow her passion for caring for children and their families. Janna previously worked as a pediatric dental hygienist before her family grew. In June 2017, Janna and her family moved to Tampa. Now as a mother, children’s ministry became even more important than before.
Camille is a local Tampa musician, born and raised into a family of musicians. Camille draws influence from folk music, classic rock, and modern singer/songwriters like Fiona Apple and Stevie Nicks. Over the past 6 years, Camille has served several local churches by leading worship. Her view of the church is that it is part of a body, not just a location. Her approach to ministry is outreach minded, creative, and community-driven.
